Dental receptionists schedule, reschedule, or cancel patients’ dental appointments as required. They perform all administrative duties necessary to ensure that dental practice is running smoothly.
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls appropriately.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Guide visitors to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
Administrative Support:
- Handle patient inquiries in person, via phone, or email
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
- Assist with billing, insurance coordination, or documentation (if required)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a medical or dental receptionist.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with clinic management systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
